rainy season

Dear…

When June arrives, putting my palm up out of the window to feel the raindrop and looking at the cloudy sky, I always think about buying a new umbrella with a bright color.

June is the raining season in most of the areas of Japan. For about a month, it rains softly to tell us summer is beginning.

When it ends in July, the rain tells us that the midsummer has now arrived.

The rain in June always reminds us of the changes in the beautiful seasons in Japan.

How do the locals live and what they do in this raining season? What is the typical culture of “tsuyu” (raining season in Japanese)?

Let’s take a look!
